Sharp continues to enhance workflow features on our best-selling models to ensure best user experience
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide dealers with the latest MFP technology, we are excited to announce two new features available for Sharp Advanced and Essentials series workgroup models.
- Microsoft® Teams business collaboration service is now supported on the MFP touchscreen with an available software connector and firmware update, enabling businesses to easily print and scan documents to their Teams channels and folders for greater workflow efficiency.
- Microsoft Universal Print service is now supported as a native feature with the same firmware update, enabling businesses that subscribe to this service to connect to Advanced and Essentials series MFPs without using a Microsoft connector.
These new connectivity features are available on the models shown below beginning with February 2022 production (this can be identified on the serial number plate of the machine). Existing machine models listed below that are already in the field can be updated to the February production level firmware. Sharp dealer service teams can upgrade the machines to the appropriate firmware package for their model, which includes the Teams Connector software. Installation and User Guides for Universal Print Setup and Microsoft Teams Setup are available from the Sharp dealers to the public upon request.
