Sharp is pleased to announce two new monochrome multifunction printers (MFPs) designed to fulfill the needs of today’s hybrid workforce. This latest line features faster print speeds, enhanced user experience and a compact design. In its out-of-the-box configuration it is meant to be a desktop printer. With added accessories such as paper trays and a cabinet it can be floor-standing.
The BP-B540WR and BP-B550WD A4 MFPs enable workers to collaborate seamlessly and securely throughout the office environment featuring many of the leading features of Sharp’s existing workgroup A3 MFPs. The BP-B550WD, offers printing speeds up to 50 pages per minute and provides customers with a duplexing single pass feeder, whereas the BPB540WR, offers printing speeds up to 40 pages per minute and is a reversing single pass feeder. Both models boast a 7” capacitive touchscreen that gives users a more fluid, intuitive work experience.
As large and small businesses work to keep networks safe, Sharp has designed these devices with standard firmware attack prevention with self-recovery, virus detection kit (optional) and Bitdefender antivirus software (optional).
